1. The parties
You (the guest) and Hotel Zum Riesen. These Terms apply to direct bookings, website use, and guest communications.
2. Services
We provide accommodation, direct booking, guest communication, and related on-property services. Third-party payment processing may be used where required.
3. Bookings
When you confirm a booking, a contract of accommodation is formed between you and the hotel. The selected rate plan, cancellation terms, and guest details form part of that contract.
4. Cancellations
Cancellation rights depend on the rate plan selected. The policy is shown plainly at checkout and in your confirmation email.
5. Acceptable use
No misuse of the website, fraudulent bookings, scraping, or attempts to interfere with hotel systems or availability.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the hotel is liable only for direct damages arising from gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer protections.
7. Governing law and venue
German law applies. Venue is Hanau or the competent consumer venue where mandatory law requires otherwise.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
